The Village of St. Edward
Fairlawn, Ohio Market: Assisted LivingCompleted: 2017
The Village of St. Edward was a new assisted living facility with 32 residential units. This project involved the installation of a 100-ton roof top unit for cooling and outside air, 33-variable air volume boxes with hot water reheat, 2-boilers for heating as well as the installation of through-the-wall heating and cooling units in the resident units. Bell & Blaire invested extensive preconstruction planning and value engineering services in order to provide an HVAC system that met the client’s budget without compromising quality and efficiency. All of the HVAC equipment as well as the heating water piping was changed to alternate manufacturers. A BACnet control system was also installed with collaboration of our in-house controls team. The project was completed as scheduled and within budget and provided the client with a quality HVAC system for years to come.
